Marital status: Widowed
Children: 3
Occupation: Retired/Part time office
Comment:

To most of you, I'm known as Denny Lauby's sister.  However, I graduated with the class of '59.   It's been a long time since highschool and a lot has transpired.  I married after highschool and had 3 children.  Was married for 23 years when I knew it was time to move on.  I was single for six years and married a wonderful man I met through a family member.  We went together for 4 years and married in 1989.  I had 3 children from my first marriage and he had two.  They were all adults by that time.  Five years after we married, my sweet husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and I became his full-time caregiver for over 12 years.  Late 2006 I had to place him in a AD unit and visited him several times a week.  He passed away on the early morning the day after Christmas in 2007.

I have 3 adult children from my marriage to Jay Munson, whom I married right after high school.  He passed in 2005.  I am also the proud grandmother of six granddaughters and three great grandsons who will be home soon from Germany.

Jerry and I moved to Tucson in 1999 after travelling in our motor home for nearly a year.  We stay with Dennis and my younger brother Dr. John Lauby in North Carolina the summer of 1999 and had to move someplace permanent because of Jerry's illness.

I will remain in Arizona as I love this place.  My daughter has recently moved here and my two sons, Jay and Jon Munson are still living in Seattle as are my grand children.

I can't believe it's 50 years since our wonderful years at Shoreline.  My children and grandchildren have attended and graduated from Shoreline schools.

I wish I could return for your reunion and play golf with all of you as I love it but I haven't played because of my need to be with my husband.  We loved travelling the US and playing as many golf courses as we could.

Hope you all enjoy your reunion.  John Lauby is living in North Carolina and I'm sure you know Dennis passed away a couple years ago.  That was a real tragedy.  Miss him terribly.

God bless all of you and enjoy your reunion.

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Employed Part-time
Comment: "After graduation I worked for the Seattle Credit Bureau for several years.  In 1965 I married Bill Ferguson and shortly after we moved to Maple Valley, WA.  We have two children, Susan with two grandsons - Steven & Christopher and Darrell with two grandsons - Cody & Dakota and granddaughter Tonya.  In 1976 I went to work for a Permanent & Temporary Employment  Agency as a clerical supervisor.  We also owned our own business in Maple Valley, Royal Towing.  In 1990 I went to work for State Farm Insurance in Maple Valley.  In 1996 we sold our business and moved to Montesano, WA.  I went to work for the State Farm agent in Montesano and retired in 2002.  In 2005 I went back to work part-time until they could hire a new employee, I'm still there.  I love my job, have a great boss and live only 3 miles from work.  Someday I may think about retirement again, but not yet.  My hobbies are rubber stamping, gardening and paper Tole."

Occupation: semi retired music teacher
Comment: I`m semi-retired in my music teaching now. As much for the pleasure of helping aspiring youg students as extra funds for my travels. My son lives in Buenos Aires Argentina, and spent last Christmas with him following a cruise around South America. I keep in shape by working out with my great friends at Ballys. Don`t use it, you`ll loose it. Looking forward to seeing you all next August.

Comment: WOW! What a great reunion. I'm looking forward to the DVD of the main event and the picnic. It was so much fun for me to see and visit with so many of the people that make up my fondest memories. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to visit everyone and some were not able to make it this time. Maybe, the next one,...........The committee  did a fantastic job, and I can't think of anything that would have made it better. I went to Roosevelt's 50th last Saturday and I can tell you that our's was better. Thanks to everyone that made it so good.

Caven Granat

Marital status: Divorced
Children: 1
Occupation: Retired
Comment: Ending up in Redding, CA. is no surprise as I used to drive by the Upper Sacramento River at least once a year since the early 60's. The family moved to the Sacramento area in 1961 but I stayed behind and went to the U of W and  then a technical school. I worked for Harrison Dental Labs till 1973, then found a better job with a dentist in Lakewood WA. Spent 12 good years doing crown and bridge for him, but then the rain got the best of me in 1985 and I moved to Sacramento. In Sacramento I had much help raising a son from my family and also switched occupations. I earned a living driving a line haul back and forth from Reno. That was fairly boring except in winter when Donner Pass becomes anything but that. By 1998 though I had had enough adventure on the road and was able to retire. When the real estate market picked up in 2001 I sold my house and bought another house in a senior community in Redding.I personally like it because of the security and the friendly people. I have four grandkids who live in Auburn, CA. I keep fairly busy fishing all over N. Calif., playing a weekly round of golf and enjoying playing pool and poker with my friends.

Nancy Hagen

Children: 3
Occupation: Reimbursement Specialist
Comment:  My professional career began when I purchased a photography studio.  During this 25 year stint, I became an accomplished airbrush artist and served as a judge for the Professional Photographers Association, which was very rewarding.

Seeking a career change I went back to school and became a medical assitant.  This resulting in becoming an office manager that included the challenging duty of assisting in office surgeries.

By far the most rewarding portion of my life is the blessing of my two daughters and one son.  They have blessed me with four grandchildren who in turn have blessed me with three (soon to be four) great-grandchildren.

Still gainfully employed as a reimbursement specialist for a medical supply company and being a single, sassy, senior, I am looking forward to more of life's rewards.
