Thanks for info about the reunion.  Still can't believe it's been 64 years since graduation. Married , widowed, married again and widowed again and growing old by myself.  2 sons 45 and 44, 3 grandchildren, 4 surving stepchildren ( all grown and retired, 6 step great grands).  Moved  back into my Yakima home  that was built in 1920's - originally a doctor's home,( actually doctor and wife ran a small hospital until she fell down the stairs and broke both her legs.)  We did considerable remodeling and I'm still happy to call it home.  Like most of us,  I totally retired in 2015 after teaching Sp. Needs High School Students  in Yakima and Ky.  -grand total of 37 yrs. I think I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and this was a great profession for me.  Miss it most on the first day of school each year and find I don't remember what the date is since I don't fill out attendance slips for ever period of the teaching day.  Still staying active in retired teacher group - local and state, volunteer at Wellness House - place for Cancer patients for information and support, member of Beta Sigma Phi - service sorority  that I've enjoyed for over 50 yrs.   I have some health challenges after being scratched by a feral cat (black one)  that I fed on a cold Feb. morning in 2020.  Cost me the new hip I had replaced in 2017 & it took a long time to get the infection out of my system  & cleared for a new hip replacement.  Still don't walk very well but I can drive. Actually I'm having trouble growng up.  Can't really believe I'm this old and probably still waiting for the moment when I feel grown up.  I hope all of you can attend the reunion next year and I have it on my calendar,  Stay well and see you all at the 65th Reunion of the 1st Shoreline Spartans.  Lorry
